CV Services –Terms & Conditions (childcarers)
Access to the Best Bear CV database (full details and email service)
There is no charge to upload your CV onto the Best Bear CV database. Your CV will stay live on the website for 60 days, after which time it will automatically be removed.
Parents and agencies will be given access to the CV database to search for suitable candidates for their vacancy/ies and will contact you directly if they feel that you will be suitable for the role that they are recruiting for. They are bound by our terms & conditions for the CV service and our privacy policy (link here). If you feel that they are in breach of this then please contact us at feedback@bestbear.co.uk with copies of correspondence where applicable.
This licence to use the on-line CV service is granted subject to the terms and conditions listed below, in addition to our standard Best Bear disclaimer.
Your uploaded CV will automatically terminate at the end of the 60 days period unless renewed.
You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to the services will be correct, accurate and complete and that all contact details contain your correct name, address and other requested details. You warrant that all information that you provide to us in relation to your cv or otherwise:
(a) is true and accurate;
(b) is not offensive, discriminatory, obscene, defamatory or in any other way illegal; and
(c) does not infringe any rights of any third party (including without limitation the copyright of any such third party).
You agree to indemnify us against all costs, claims, demands or expenses incurred or made by us as a result of a breach of this agreement by you or howsoever arising.
CVs and job advertisements contained on the site are provided by candidates and by prospective employers and their agents and are not reviewed by us. We accept no responsibility or liability for the contents of CVs or advertisements and expect candidates and prospective employers to carry out such verification procedures as are customary and prudent in the circumstances.
Best Bear Childcare is not to be considered to be an employer with respect to your use of this website and we shall not be responsible for any employment decisions, for whatever reason made, made by any entity posting jobs on our website.
You authorise us to use, store or otherwise process any personal information which relates to and identifies you, including but not limited to your name and address, to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the Services.
By accepting this Agreement, you agree to the processing and disclosure of the Personal Information for the purposes stated in the privacy policy. (insert link)You agree that upon completion and submission of the CV submission form all personal data you have provided will be available for parents and agencies to see via our CV database search facility. They will be able to contact you direct using whichever contact information you have supplied. You agree that by posting, uploading, inputting, providing or submitting your personal data you are granting Best Bear Childcare, its affiliated companies and necessary sublicensees permission to use your data in connection with the operation of their Internet businesses including, without limitation, the rights to: copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat your CV; and to publish your name in connection with your data.
If you would like to review or modify any part of your information or contact details then you can amend your details when logged in. If you wish to remove your CV at any time please email feedback@bestbear.co.uk and we will delete the record for you within 2 working days.
Best Bear Childcare may remove a CV at any time at its sole discretion.
Currency
All figures mentioned on this site or by our representatives are £ sterling. Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, all prices are exclusive of VAT which shall be charged where appropriate at the rate prevailing at the relevant tax point.
Governing law
These terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with English law and all disputes shall be decided by the English courts.
